Adell wins Area Code Homerun Derby
Jordon Adell celebrates his home run derby win LONG BEACH—Jordon Adell of the White Sox continued his stellar week at the Area Code Games by winning the home run derby. Adell beat a field of seven players representing each team at the Games. The players were voted in by their teammates. Cody Greenhill struck out five in two innings. LONG BEACH—The Nationals beat the Athletics 10-2 in the final game of the Tuesday session at the Area Code Games. It was the Nationals’ third game in which they scored double-digit runs.
