For 40 years, Area Code Baseball has provided the nation’s best high school baseball players with an opportunity to compete on amateur baseball’s biggest stage — the Area Code Games.

 

Recognized as the best baseball showcase and top baseball recruiting events in the country, the Area Code Games have become a proven pathway for elite talent. With 258 alumni currently on MLB rosters, many of baseball’s biggest stars earned their opportunity here before hearing their name called on Draft Day.

Through the ID Series, Area Code Baseball provides athletes the opportunity to showcase their talent and get on our radar for future invite-only event consideration. In 2025, 88 ID Series participants received an Area Code Games tryout invitation.

The ID Series provides verified metrics, live evaluation, and a direct pathway to future opportunities, including Area Code TryoutsArea Code Select, and the Area Code Games — making it one of the best high school baseball event for players looking to begin their journey through the Area Code pipeline. 

​

The Area Code ID Series is open to 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030 graduates.
